Oscar-winner Colin Firth stars in this heart-warming cross-cultural romantic comedy set in the idyllic South of France. Nimi, a beautiful Nigerian single mother to son Sammy, is under pressure from her family to find a suitable husband and who better than the local Reverend? After making friends with Matthew, a British comic-book writer and one of his heros, Sammy has other ideas. He successfully plots to get them together but they've still a few obsticles to overcome.

Interesting culture, particularly the talking in riddles to avoid being rude (which the ladies pretty much did all the time). Didn't like the Colin Firth character and think the couple lacked spark. Cute little boy though (although very strange accent).

Strange, quirly African love story, with the unlikely addition of Mr Darcy- Colin firth, He be friends a young African boy who requests him to marry his Mum.

This movie do something to me, espeacially the love scene, great Colin and Nia, love Sammy too.

This movie was not everything it could have been, but it was still very good. Colin Firth is a brilliant actor, as is NIa Long. The romance between these two was not entirely believable, meaning- I wasn't sold on the idea. However, this movie is saved by the hilarious conversations between the women, the gorgeous scenery, and the interactions between the other characters. Worth watching,
