glorious! wonderful performances. innovative camera techniques. isabella rossellini is to die for. mark mckinney shows his serious side. i learned that a tapeworm can tell you what to do. and americans and nymphomaniacs are almost indecipherable from one another.

I can only emphasise how much I could relate to the character of Gavrilo the Great (played by Ross McMillan) as he brought to the movie a lamentable wit that I found to be very much like my own.

It's like a multicultural Canadian Idol with musicians from all over the world... Or emo musicians from all over the world. They want to prove they are the saddest musicians or the most talented musicians for creating sad music. There is a very romantic vision of art in this movie. The art vision from the characters in the movie is very naive. The history is very complex and creative... It's almost gothic. The cinematography is very artistic. The symbolism is present. Everything is perfect in this movie. It's one of the best Canadian movie of all time.
