Wim Wenders' last movie follows a successful photographer on his journey to find some answers out of his confusion about life and death. The movie is personal but not so special, it would be boring if it wasn't for the fantastic soundtrack.

this movie should end at the middle, because the metaphorical and symbolical speech used by wenders cannot be bom. a very emotional statement made by wenders, but a trist storyline and a lack of dramaturgy cannot compensate this. imagery and soundtrack are awesome though...

Stupendo film di Wim Wenders. Visionario,Onirico,metafisico e filosofico. Un film che non resta fermo alla superficie registica (Perfetta!!) ma ci mette sul piatto sceneggiativo molti argomenti come lo sguardo sul cinema, la morte e l'inquietudine degli esseri umani. Ogni attore sembra essere al posto giusto compresa una quasi eterea giovanna ezzogiorno che sembra uscita da un dipinto e finisce a fondersi con un negativo fotografico. Splendido Dennis Hopper cavaliere misterioso e morte allo stesso tempo. Bravura degli attori che si fonde perfettamente con una fantastica Palermo ripresa da Wenders nella sua migliore forma..

A compelling watch as with most Wenders' movies but one that doesn't stay with you once it's over. Great cinematography but forgettable storyplot.
