shocking and nasty theres 1 scene later involving a lads legs were your deffo going to look away,great film.

Before seeing this film, I thought maybe some kind of creature or something was down in "The Ruins", but I was wrong. I still enjoyed the story line. The film did have some good gorey moments in it for the horror lovers out there.

This movie relies on psychological horror rather than just cheap boo-scares or gore. Of course, there is some gore, which is satisfying for those who enjoy that. You really sympathize with the characters as they have to deal with extreme situations. The acting is good and there are some very intense moments.

arrgh!!! it scared me a lot! it made me bite the pillow i'm handling in some scenes..i fond watching this kind of movie..but this one.....scary!!!!
