This is a great horror film, creepy, cruel and very compelling. It deserves a lot more credit than it got. I wish it had ended differently, or explained the reason for the containment and why it was there.

Before seeing this film, I thought maybe some kind of creature or something was down in "The Ruins", but I was wrong. I still enjoyed the story line. The film did have some good gorey moments in it for the horror lovers out there.

A great, bloody horror film with no monster, no maniac running around killing everone. Jenna Malone is very good. Its a great adaptation of the book.
