Why oh why is this movie not available on DVD? It is hysterical! A brilliant cult comedy with too many highlights to pick just one out.

I wasnt quite sure what to expect from this little baby but once I saw director Richard Lester's name pop up on the credits I knew that I was gonna like it. Lester has a relaxed approach to comedy that pays off in spades. Very funny and recommended.

I LOVE this film. It's hysterical. Rita Moreno as Googie Gomez singing "Everything's Coming Up Roses" is a classic scene. Great cast including Treat Williams and Kaye Ballard! I just wish it was available on DVD!

Rewatching it triggered my rediscovery of that period in film history when gay subjects were just gaining visibility and mainstream mediamakers were advancing recognition at the same time as the out-front cultural progress of disco.
