Cute if not a bit predictable. Solid cast with not a lot of room to shine. Still, enjoyable for the most part.

Excellent film-it has everything a story is supposed to have. A flawed protagonist who learns and changes-something so missing from many lauded films like 'Birdman'. All the supporting characters have their own flaws and goals/obstacles, unlike the supporting cardboard cutouts in 'Birdman'. Reviewers didn't like it because it doesn't have a 'gimmick' like 'Birdman' or 'Boyhood'. Reviewers love gimmicks.

Wonderful movie for budding script writers and romantic comedy lovers to enjoy on a rainy day. Hugh Grant does what he does best by playing the charming Englishman, yet he may not be as charming as you expect. A good movie, if you're a Grant fan.
