One of my all time favorite Disney films. I still remember the characters names, and I haven't seen this flick in at a decade and a half. I must've seen this movie at least 100 times as a kid. Love that Albatros. And Bianca is pretty hot for a mouse. Probably because she was voiced by Eva Gabor, now thats a sexy accent.

Beautifully animated--and overall pleasing to the senses--The Rescuers is a delightfully dark, yet charming adventure film. The characters are likable (especially Bernard, Bianca, and Penny) and the plot is engaging. It is overall a memorable, smartly-conceived animated film that has that rare gift of being able to appeal to both children and adults because of its amount of suspense and classic Disney fun. It is ultimately one of the best films in the entire Disney animated canon.

My sixth favorite film. It's the only film from the dark age era that was done the right. Not that I'm saying the other films were bad, but this one had the cooperation of all the people at the studio who were willing to actually tell a good story. It also has some great characters, as well. It was the first big success since "The Jungle Book" ten years earlier and would be their last until "The Little Mermaid", so it was a big deal then. Take it from me, it's the best film that came out in the dark age era and the only one done to the best.

This is the sweetest film ever! It is great to watch with your kids... The storyline is exciting and I shed a couple of little tears every time they show the little orphan looking out of the window wondering where are the parents that will love her...
