The Replacements (2000)

Maverick old-guard coach Jimmy McGinty is hired in the wake of a players' strike to help the Washington Sentinels advance to the playoffs. But that impossible dream hinges on whether his replacements can hunker down and do the job. So, McGinty dusts off his secret dossier of ex-players who never got a chance (or screwed up the one they were given) and knits together a bad-dream team of guys who just may give the Sentinels their title shot.

I love this movie. It is a classic. Especially for all the memoralble one liner that came out of this movie. Oooooleeeee, Ooooooleeeeee, Oooooleeeeee, Oooooleeeeee!

Are you a football fan that likes comedies? This is the movie that you'll be interested in. Now I didn't see it in the theaters and i'll admit, this movie isn't worth $10.50 but Blockbuster is a place you want to go in order to see this movie. I love it as I am a fan of the game but I love to laugh at the same time. It's got a cheesy love sub-plot but more importantly, it revolves around a man that has issues with trust. As the movie progresses, that trust issue is dealt with and what a happy ending. Good to see if you got some free time and want some laughs. This movie is my all-time favorite and I never get tired of watching it.

I grew up watching this and I absolutly loved it. I believe it is a sports movie classic and deserves more respect. No sports movie I enjoy more than this.
