The Quick and the Undead (2006)

The movie takes place in the present, but in this universe, a plague has broken out and the infected have been transformed into zombies. No explanation is provided for the source of the plague, nor is it explained how the original victims were infected, since by the time the narrative begins the infection spreads by bite. Nevertheless, the action starts 80 years after the initial outbreak. The western United States has devolved into a disconnected series of ghost towns overrun by zombies, and the government is awarding bounties in exchange for the pinkies of the undead.

Tout est dans le titre... Oui, c'est un western moderne avec des zombies... voila, voila, voila... Les amateurs apprecieront...

I felt this was a very well done very bad movie. Being a low budget flick, it suffers from bad acting, only 2 camera angles in a shot, etc and so on... but it does do some things well. It's a decent zombe movie that knows that it doesn't have enough substance so it only runs at 1 hour and 10 minutes (not 90 mins like this says). If you like Zombie movies and have 70 mins to spare pick this one up.

5+++!!! It's damn so great for me. Cheap and simple, it's much more attractive than all that heavily promoted stuff with symphonic soundtracks and typical posters.

Normally the stupid Zombie Movies are my favorite. But they were only a backdrop to the real plot which was a bunch of stupid bounty hunters. Zombies - a BACK DROP?!?! ...how dare you. They did give a pretty nice discription of what a zombie is though. And the main charater was cute...as long as he wasn't talking.

Ok I saw the cover of this movie and wanted to watch it. But the cover had nothing to do with the story. I really wanted a wild west zombie. The cast was not good at all. Horrible acting. I will give props on the zombies. The make up was pretty good. But the poor story and poor acting made this movie not that enjoyable at all.
