The Quick and the Undead (2006)

The movie takes place in the present, but in this universe, a plague has broken out and the infected have been transformed into zombies. No explanation is provided for the source of the plague, nor is it explained how the original victims were infected, since by the time the narrative begins the infection spreads by bite. Nevertheless, the action starts 80 years after the initial outbreak. The western United States has devolved into a disconnected series of ghost towns overrun by zombies, and the government is awarding bounties in exchange for the pinkies of the undead.

Two guys do their best Kurt Russel vs Dennis Hopper impersination. Very low budget zombie flick that had a unique story and a genuinely funny (although probably not intentional) cast. Started getting bored near the end, but it wrapped things up quickly enough for me to not regret the view. Looks and feels like some horror buffs following through with an idea, and kudos to them for that.

Holy crap this movie was terrible right from the story to the bad Clint Eastwood impersonation by the good guy..This is probably the worst zombie flick i have ever seen.

Boring. I lost intrest when I realised it was a Western based movie. But the Undead looked great.

Wow...I have to admit...it got my interest at some point but then it faded. The movie has a plot that is filled with so many holes. The actors cannot act for a ball of turd, the effects looked so primitive I ate dinner while watching the zombies eat. Please do not watch this if you're for a horror. The zombies would not be able to scare a 5yr old. Avoid this brain drain at all cost!

personally li like the plot...bounty hunters trying rid zombies from the world. well only if they get paid for it. This causes competition amongst the small group of bounty hunters.
