I am in love with this movie, and more in love with the songs in it. Uma thurman played this part extremly well.

Wonderful film. Zero Mostel gives a great performance. Gene Wilder's face can register so many emotions without saying anything. Judith Crist was reported to have said in her review of this film that it "...had a rancid beauty all it's own." Even the reviews of this film leave me smiling. I love the friendship that develops between these two men .

The Producers is a rip-roaring comedy which takes no prisoners and doesn't distinguish reich from wrong.

One of the funniest films I have ever seen. The story is not just well written, but has an affectionate regard for its characters. In this, a down and out producer becomes friends with an accountant called Leo Bloom and they attempt to pull the scam of their life by getting lots of shares, then producing a flop. They decide on a play called Springtime for Hitler, lots of chaotic scenes follow. Zero Mostel is just one of those great unforgettable actors. I will not spoil this delightful comedy by saying anymore, it is a must see.
