This movie is not funny and it barely passes as funny at times. Maybe one good song out of the entire movie. I had an adult and a child pass out during the short movie. Just do yourself and your kid a favor and watch any Toy Story again. If you need the musical fix then go watch Frozen. Honestly Frozen teaches better lessons, better songs, and gives you more entertainment.

UglyDolls is good for the kids and a great way to occupy their attention for almost 90 minutes. For the adults, it’s just another uninspired children’s film to hold us over until the next one comes along.

A Shameless Trolls Ripoff Despite very good animation and a top notch cast, UglyDolls has an awful script that rips off BOTH Trolls (With the musical style and similar characters) and Smurfs: The Lost World (With there being a hidden world and directed by the SAME person), and bland characters. In conclusion, UglyDolls is basically Trolls without the heart, good characters, and catchy songs.

UglyDolls is a mind-numbing, low-rent version of “Toy Story,” with saccharine songs and a plot with echoes of, no kidding, the Holocaust. If you’re under 10, you might like it.
