A dark, deliberately slow-paced and quietly sensual film, Swimming Pool will no doubt infuriate audiences who enjoy more plot driven thrillers, but for those with patience and a keen eye for nuance, it provides a truly astounding visceral experience.

Excellent film, definitely one of me new favourites. Even though I'm still not sure I totally get it, I love how the ending sneaks up on you, brilliantly done. And Ludivine Sagnier's not hard to look at either.

Great story, with just the right amounts of suspense and humour, and an unexpected twist at the end.

Awesome. Would have made 'ol Alfred jealous. The way the suspense builds is just amazing. Ozon's other "mood-piece" See The Sea would sadly not live up to this gem.
