This is a good movie that shows the tragedy of being on the wrong side of the pharmaceutical companies. This amazing doctor was bullied, belittled, discredited for requesting more safety studies, slowing down the MMR to separate components and listening to the mother who asked for his help.

Ultimately, of course, Wakefield himself is beside the point. The controversy over vaccinations will rage on and this cinematic portrait will merely be a footnote. But it proves a compelling one, however you may feel about the burning issue.

From all I have heard of Andrew Wakefield, anti-vaxxers, and the controversy of vaccines and autism, seeing the man behind all the drama was incredibly eye-opening, adding what has been most missing from the discussion: human vulnerability and ego.

Didn't know this existed. Figures. The brave new world we live in wouldn't allow it in the mainstream. outstanding portrayal of man versus the beast. good versus evil.
