For all their skill with shambling corpses sneaking up behind beautiful women, the filmmakers can't figure out where to put the camera in those moments when characters are simply talking to each other.

There's a worthy sequel to a better-than-average horror film in here somewhere, but it's buried underneath a wild goose chase that ultimately goes nowhere.

the first one was better. much better. this was not very good at all.

rather like a modern giallo with its twisty whodunnit plotting and irrational elements, but likely to prove incomprehensible, at least through its first third, to anyone who's not seen Nicholas McCarthy's original and better The Pact (20121).

This sequel becomes more of serial killer thriller than a supernatural horror film, yet The Pact II manages to be an entertaining yet thoroughly predictable horror film nonetheless....
