In an invisible territory at the margins of society, at the border between anarchy and illegality, lives a wounded community that is trying to respond to a threat: of being forgotten by political institutions and having their rights as citizens trampled. In the end, the power of Minervini’s pseudo-fiction gives way to a much blander version of pseudo-reality.

Since the beginning I felt repulsion for Minervini's characters such junkies and American militarists, but at the same time I wanted to know more abou them. A great film.
