The Duchy of Grand Fenwick decides that the only way to get out of their economic woes is to declare war on the United States, lose and accept foreign aid. Hilarious in its absurdity. Attacking the US just to be defeated and then have us pour money into your country is actually not a half bad idea. If I ever run a country, I'll try to remember that.

A wacky quirky little cult film that's is basically that off the wall it's works. The plot is so insane it works in it's favor & it's fun.' Peter Sellers is sensational as 3 or 4 of the main characters which he plays all impeccably with his infamous odd acting style. I love the idea of this tiny country invading the US & actually by default winning its just so silly you just got to go with it. The humor is clever & I found the film genuinely funny & it's a bit of a breath of fresh air....

A lovely, naive comedy from '59, with Peter Sellers, Peter Sellers and Peter Sellers. :) Nothing spectacular - I simply liked it.
