The Little Mermaid (2023)

The youngest of King Triton's daughters, and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. With mermaids forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life – and her father's crown – in jeopardy.

Another ‘live-action’ remake that’s darker and less compelling than the animated original, but it’s saved by Bailey’s charming performance, McCarthy’s sass and the story’s own eternal magic.

Hay muchos detractores que ahora sólo se enfocan en los malos efectos visuales, pero sí lo hubiera hecho una actriz blanca nadie hubiera hecho tan malas críticas como lo están haciendo ahora. Dicen que los live-action ahora son innecesarios , cuando antes de que se estrenera no decían nada al respecto. Es una buena película común como los otros tantos live-action que ha realizado Disney.

This movie has many problems and is so worse than the original that results totally unnecessary. Excesive duration. Excesive duration. A lof of confusion. Without soul. And always thinking in introduce absurd politics as the main factor.
