A moving, dark, emotional, melancholy, and memorable take on the classic tale. Fantastic job by all the leading actors!

J'ai découvert les romans de Edgar Rice Burroughs, il y a 45 ans, grâce à mon père. J'ai adoré Johnny Weissmuller à la télévision au début des années 70. J'ai aimé Christophe Lambert dans Greystoke quand j'avais une vingtaine d'années. Et bien le Tarzan de mes 50 ans n'a pas démérité et Alexandre Skarsgard assure physiquement dans un film qui est rythmé du début à la fin. Le partis-pris de commencer 10 ans après son retour à la civilisation fait bien passer la transition avec les héros des films précédants. De plus Skarsgard mérite le coup d'oeil...

not your typical story line. I went into the movie with very low expectations maybe that played a huge part of my enjoyment. I was very impressed and entertained. Had a more complex story behind it and far different than I had anticipated. definitely recommend.

Absolutely one of my favorite movies this year!!! Loved the twist to the traditional story line. All the Actors were right on spot! Really enjoyed it!!!
