I like the movie. Maby the main reason is the great music, composed by Hans Zimmer! In my opinion, Charlize Theron was good. Had really sad, sad eyes, her expression was convincing.

The Last Witch Hunter aims for pulpy, comic-book fun, but it’s never as fleet, funny, or detailed as it needs to be. And if you’re looking for something above middling in terms of plot, characters, world-building, even action sequences, you’ll need to seek it elsewhere.

I am glad that I was skeptic about these film critics' and fanbase at 5%. In time of scifi and tech touchup big movie, I enjoyed this movie. Charlie and Javier's chemistry was captivating. Centered in war zone, this love story showcased romance with realism and vulnerabilities and couple's respective baggage acceptance. Yes! this is how life. It was very refreshing to see main characters introspective struggles to accept their fate.

Spoiler, a woman is given a cesarian section, in the jungle, with no supplies or gloves, on doctor’s orders without asking her if she want to live or not, and this is portrayed as something good. This is a vacuous romance of circumstance, backdropped with real, human suffering caused by the insane politics of the UN. I think there was some Feminist stuff thrown in, but I’m too basic to understand all that crap. The music is excellent. Watch anything about the country of Katanga, and you’ll understand what is so aweful about this fim.
