A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! The best film ever made by Alex de la Iglesia. Unrelentingly brutal, moving, darklly funny and deeply disturbing. If You're into the dark edges of cinema, don't miss it!

Wild , surreal fun. Ballad of the Sad Trumpet is a fascinating look at love, alcoholism, abuse and madness. Great direction accompanies an imaginative script with impressive effects and acting.

I'm a huge fan of the Tod Browning classics 'The Unknown' and 'Freaks', so I really liked the circus themes. I didn't expect it to be so violent, original and fun. 'Last Circus' will make you laugh, cringe and cry. Highly recommended.

Take a little Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and Taxi Driver and you will end up with The Last Circus. This film is somewhat of a genre bender and I would categorize it as a dark romance just because of the grotesque and violence that happens on the screen as two clowns (yes you read correctly, clowns) fight over a common love interest. The film is a very twisted and disturbing journey but that only makes it all the more enjoyable. Definitely unlike anything I have ever seen.
