This movie really did the book justice. It's a really good film adaptation. As far as the movie I really liked how they showed how hard it can be growing up in America and trying to hold on to where you came from at the same time.

This movie has deep memorable quotes and never fails to make me cry. Shows the differences between traditional Chinese and the Americanized daughters.

Based on Amy Tan's novel, this is one of the most emotional, funny, amazing, inspiring films I have seen. I am also not ashamed to say that I was constantly in tears throughout the whole film. Love it.
