Wow, I have such a deep love for China, especially women in China, so this film means a lot to me. The stories and flashbacks involved are wonderful and you really feel what they are feeling and the music by Rachel Portman is beautiful! A must see, oh wow the ending is sucha tear jerker indeed.

Every woman should watch this. It is great. If you have read the book keep them seperate. They are both written by different people but are both great.
