I just recently viewed this 1961 flick with William Shatner and I was quite amazed with the movie in all. Will definitely be on the ook out for more Roger Corman movies soon...

The film that got away ... A must see. Yet today there is a strain of racists persisting thru out the country, who are not very different from the local yocal creeps in this film

William Shatner was on rare form in this gutsy look into small town race relations during the USA's desegregation of the early 60's. It can boast an unflinchingly authentic milieu, provided by shooting in real Southern towns and utilizing the real racist attitudes of their citizens. Very nicely directed by Roger Corman, probably his best film... not that that is saying much. Very interesting and underappreciated film!

Molly Parker, otra vez, una pelicula interesante, que vi gustosamente: con doblaje en ruso (de esos en que un solo tipo te cuenta toda la historia Â¿que onda los rusos? Â¿serÃ¡ una modalidad de bajo presupuesto? en fin), sumado a otro audio en francÃ©s y subtitulos en italiano muy agradable y hard to find
