The Innocent Sleep (1996)

Inspired by the 1982 Roberto Calvi Affair in which an Italian banker was found hanging from a bridge across the River Thames, the story follows Alan, a man from Northern England who is homeless after the loss of his wife and job. One night while sleeping in a deserted building, Alan witnesses the murder of a high-profile businessman. He attempts to leave the scene unnoticed, but the killers realize that someone has seen them commit the crime. He goes to the police only to discover that one of the killers is leading the case. To stay alive, Alan recruits the help of Billie Hayman, an American journalist, to cover his story.

Though the narrative falters by the third act, the tight pace and gorgeous bluish tinted photography by Dunlop keeps it all watchable.

wow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch...its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that both rupert graves n adolfo cavani play good parts throughout this movie..i think that the director of this Drama, Mystery & Suspense movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie..its an enjoyable movie with a good cast throughout this movie...its a good movie n its really enjoyable 2 watch because you never know what 2 expect thoruguhout this movie
