You'll love it if you're from central IL, like true stories, like to listen for good dialogue, and love Matt Damon. Otherwise, you probably won't care for it. This is my favorite Damon performance.

Underrated story of bizarre corporate executive, Mark Whitacre in a story of manufactured espionage that keeps the viewer thinking throughout the entire film. Funny, dark and disturbing when one thinks of the people running corporate America.

The Informant! is an inspired social satire, a near-perfect single-carat diamond in an age of mindless movie bling. It's a small movie, but not in any sense minor.
