With its electrifying flight sequences and high-powered cast, The Hunters is a mesmerizing film based on the best-selling novel by veteran fighter pilot James Salter. Set during the height of the Korean War, the story centers on Major Cleve Saville (Robert Mitchum), a master of the newly operational F-86 Sabre fighter jets. But adept as he is at flying, Saville¹s personal life takes a nosedive when he falls in love with his wingman¹s (Lee Philips) beautiful wife (May Britt). To make matters worse, Saville must cope with a loud-mouthed rookie (Robert Wagner) in a daring rescue mission that threatens all their lives in this well-crafted war drama.

Standard Korean War actioner with a good cast and good photography. Robert Wagner flings the 50's lingo around like a hepcat which dates the movie more than anything.

well umn just seem this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch....its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie....i think that robert wagner, robert reed, robert mitchum, richard egan, may britt, lee philips, john gabriel, john doucette, jay jostyn play good roles/parts throughout this movie....i think that the director of this action/adventure/drama/war/thriller/classics movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie its a really good war movie 2 watch n its got a good cast throughout this movie...i think that the fight scenes n the gun shoot outs were pretty kewl throughout this movie....its a good movie 2 watch
