McQueen's last film. Not one of his best.

Entertaining albeit generic action film about a veteran bounty hunter is McQueen's last film. It's not a classic but definitely worth checking out.

The true story of Ralph "Papa" Thorson (Steve McQueen), a modern day bounty hunter. Thorson's exploits are detailed as he pursues a number of fugitives who have skipped bail. The chase comes full circle when he becomes the quarry of a vengeful psychopath. also stars Eli Wallach, LeVar Burton, Kathryn Harrold, Ben Johnson, Richard Venture, Tracey Walter, Tom Rosales and Theodore Wilson. directed by Buzz Kulik.
