Love this delightful flick. Comedy, music, outer space...it's as if they know me! Saving the world with blue grass, banjo, guitar...of course!

It plays out as a simple, sweet story of two alien lifeforms who discover that falling in love and playing the banjo is a better mission than intergalactic genocide. And that's a message I think we can all get behind.

The low budget rarely hurts this highly inventive film, loaded with charm and some great tunes. However, the story may be a bit too rushed or unbelievable for some.

A magical film about the saving power of Earth music. An intergalactic rock band struggles to save their home planet of Hondo and their adopted home of Earth. The film is original, holds an imaginative conceit, and is host to quite a few kick ass songs. It's hard to resist the innocent, joyful charm of History of Future Folk and you're just about guaranteed to walk out craving one of the bands albums. A great film, plain and simple.
