In a world where humans coexist with puppets—who are seen as lesser citizens—cast members of a beloved 1990s children's television series begin getting murdered one by one. The Happytime Murders is very none PC...as any good comedy should be! If the puppet's were real people, this movie would get an x rating. Some people may feel apprehensive to laugh at some of the jokes in a public movie theater because a bit of the content pushes taboos. Relax and have fun with it. The storyline feels like a comfortable classic. Disclaimer: I did grow up in the 70's to the Muppets and I did not watch the Trailer before we seen the movie. Forget the world exists for 90 minutes and have fun watching this movie :-)

I thought this was a very funny, entertaining movie. Indeed raunchy, it must be taken at face value. The funny scenes were hysterical. and i think critics are not looking at the big picture. It looks like they had a blast making the film. It has a storyline, a plot and a good ending. and i went to the movie looking for laughs and I found just that. it was insanely silly, funny and I would actually go see it again.

This money was absolutely hilarious, absolutely loved it! Now, crude humor isn't always something to go for (I thorough enjoy a movie like Crazy Rich Asians) but I also enjoy Adam Sandler 8 Crazy Nights/Water Boy levels of humor as well, even made more funny with Muppets. XD Screw the Tomatometer and screw the "top critics," I felt the story was very engaging, being a fan of the noir style detective point of view stories, which is basically what this was, with Muppets. I also thoroughly enjoyed the twists at the end and how the plot unfolded. Its not for everyone, just people who don't mind a little low brow humor every now and then (don't lie, you've laughed at some South Park.)

THIS FILM GLORIES IN ITS DIRTY AND DISTURBING FILTHINESS. tHE PLOT IS PAPER THIN BUT FANS OF AVENUE Q AND TEAM AMERICA WORLD POLICE WILL FIND SIMILAR HUMOUR HERE. mYSELF AND THE WIFE HAD A LOT OF FUN WATCHING IT, SO KUDOS FOR THAT IF NOTHING ELSE. oNLY DOWNSIDE IS i AM UNSURE HOW REWATCHABILITY IT HAS?
