William, a once obese and troubled teen, goes back to his family's home after being gone, without word, for ten years and finds it (and his family) haunted with his past. He had moved to the city and become a fit, well-adjusted gay man, but during his visit home, he becomes unhinged as the newly remembered reasons for his miserable adolescence come to life in each of their presents.

A very unique film. Kind of disturbing. It really makes you think about life and how people live it.

Dreams and reality mingle as Will returns to the home he ran from and begins to sort through his repressed childhood. Great film.

This was a very odd movie... Did he really kill himself as a child and he being there at the wedding was in the memories of the people there? Or, was he really there, but his disappearance was hanging over his family like he had died? I am not really that sure which is true, but then... that may have been what the writer of this movie had wished for. This was not a great movie, but it was not painful to watch. It had some very random moments.

I've been thinking a lot about this movie lately and how an individual can transform from the awkwardness of their early conditioning and embark on a successful life..or never have the chance of that transformation taking place. This film so beautifully presents the possibility of both tragedy or happiness as its final scenes take place. It is inspiring.
