This movie is really funny in some scenes, but the song and dance numbers are silly, and I just couldn't take it.

Although a classic Astaire/Rogers film, I only found it so-so. This is probably because I've been more impressed by their later works. Astaire's solo work seemed very wild and lacked the smoothness that I've come to like about him. But when he's with Ginger, wow. Those scenes were certainly memorable: Day and Night was classic Astaire/Rogers- elegant, classy, creative; the Continental (their small portion in it, at least) was the same; and even the short little reprise at the end pivoting and hopping about the tables and couches was damn impressive. I can't really say anything bad about the rest of the movie, it was just so-so, not too memorable, not too impressive. The only thing that did annoy me were some badly shot parts (shots where heads were blocking characters' faces, big butts were the focus, etc.) that took away from seeing the actual dancing.

Yet another Fred and Ginger masterpiece. I don't think there's ever been a better combination in musical film.

Loved it. Easy, light storyline with some incredible dancing. Very enjoyable!

Excellent first 'first billed' fun from Rogers and Astaire with some good witty one-liners to compliment the impressive musical numbers.
