eh- its hard to say anything good about this film- its just a 2 hr arm shrug. Action doesnt connect, characters are forgettable, story doesnt really go anywhere, and the effects for the most part are sub par at best. Hard to believe the company that released "No Tears for the Dead" has this in their lineup.

"Flu or: People who should know better doing stupid things for contrivance's sake". And oh look, the Americans are the bad guys. That's pretty typical. And when they're not being the antagonists (never mind the titular Flu), random villains are popping up, with no clear motivation, just to be dicks. There's some nightmarish imagery and it's all pretty slick, but boy, whoever wrote the screenplay... they sure do love them some trite cliches.

despite featuring mass death and Holocaust imagery... somehow FLU still finds plenty of room for goofy buddy comedy, mawkish romance and routines involving excessive child cutesiness. It is a misjudged mélange of incongruous tones

The movie is very intense but quite slow as well. I don't expect much of a twist or anything but the movie did not impact me or is particularly thought provoking.
