An ok movie about what it may have been like during the time after Christ's resurrection and ascension. Some terrible acting by Dolph Lundgren and others but the two leads were very good, one of them being Monica Cruz, who has to be Penelope Cruz's sister, looks just like her! The story was a little weak...awesome ending though!

A remake of the 1986 tale. If you're into those Ancient Rome/Christianity Films.. Theres eye candy in the form of the leads.. You might recognize a face or three, one being that o the beautiful Monica Cruz, the sister of Penelope. It adds more to the debate of what happened to Jesus' body and that of the miracles that he performed whilst he was still alive. Its boring in an interesting way I suppose

In the end I was simply disappointed that this film and its acting team could have been given so much more to work with--specifically the screenplay. A wasted opportunity for an inspiring Christian film.
