Everyone can do something to help with the poverty around the world. We decided to boycott all drinks from soft drink company. They took water from other countries land and leave them no waters to drink. Or as from the film, people only make $4.5 a day and the private company who owns the water in their country sales the water for $7.5. How can they afford the water and not be poor??? It is not just happening in third world country, it actually happened here in Michigan!

Powerful documentary that underlines the origins of capitalism and shatters the assumption we have (especially in France) that the purpose of our societies is to help people step out of poverty, whereas their nature is and has always been founded on the exploitation of man by man and to set in stone the discrepancies between rich and poor. I particularly appreciated the participation of John Perkins, the author of the celebrated "Confessions of An Economic Hitman".
