Amazing how people are different in the same country. Blessed to be a Californian.

Yes, I am a documentary whore. And when it comes to documentaries, these are good fodder for me. I think this is a great little piece of Americana and it is definitely the right subject to follow. She is a great spirit and the story captures what it wants to show. I also was pleased to see that the deleted scenes were deleted because it would have given it more of a feel that Shelby was a reporter. However, the moment it shows her on the back of the motorcycle it really showed how innocent she is, which showed a little bit of objectivity. This could have expanded a bit beyond Shelby, because there was only so far she could have taken the subject ? or I should say the topic, but it was still entertaining and engaging. I definitely felt for her and felt sorry for anyone who has a differing opinion who lives in that town.

Our education system is flawed and this documentary shows just one issue. It brings attention to problems that are ignored every day. Shelby Knox is a hero.

A really good documentary about the controversial issue of teaching sex education in public schools. The film is really well edited. I went to school with Shelby so it was nice to see familar people and places.

... a well-made, often extremely funny coming of age tale ...
