Slowly developing, but gripping, suspenseful and very clever Italian thriller.

A beautiful, head-spinning mystery that requires keen attention - and rewards it with a tricky and poetic payoff - The Double Hour is a topflight Euro thriller right up there with "Tell No One."

It fails to actively bring much originality to its respective genre, but there's still plenty of compelling suspense to satisfy, as well as great performances from Filippo Timi and Kseniya Rappoport.

A quite little movie full of surprises - hard to believe this is the director's debut movie. Has an uniquely structured screenplay which makes it hard to pin down on one single genre. Its a multi genre experience: ghost, romance, heist, suspense, thriller & .... foreign :)

not as twisty as memento or usual suspects. Not really twisty--more perplexing as to what Guido saw in Sonia to begin with.
