What a great movie!!!! Best movie in the world!!!!!! The best part was meeting Darren Bousman & Terrance Zdunich in person!!!!!!!!! So worth all the money I wasted

While The Devil's Carnival fails to deliver the story and character's with anything beyond superficial motivations, it thankfully brought the creepy surrealism... but not much more.

If you manage to catch Devil's Carnival touring in your town, I'd recommend to jump at that chance if you are a cult film fan. Fans of Rocky Horror and especially Repo will find a lot of interest in this film, and if you're a plague rat like myself you are probably itching to see Emilie Autumn's entertaining little solo and probably the only straight kiss I've seen with her after years of seeing her live shows. ;) The music is lovely, Terence's Lucifer is to die for, and most of all this film is planned to be a series in fact, each one bringing a new set of stories. But while there is talk of a DVD eventually coming out, I wouldn't recommend waiting around for it, because it doesn't sound like it will come any time soon.

I thought the Devil's Carnival started out a bit slow and struggled to capture attention at first. Partially due to the first few songs which seemed a little too straight forward and simple, However soon after the movie started it picked up and by the time the credits role you have hopefully heard several memorable tunes (my personal favorite is "a Tale for a Penny") and are left wishing for more. If you have any interest in strange yet interesting movies with great music this film is right for you!

I love Repo! to death and was looking forward to this one. The signature visuals and music of Bousman and Zdunich never fails to satisfy me. Disappointed about the story though, I was kinda expecting more in that department.
