I'm glad in a Q&A the director said they aren't going to tackle as many fables in the as they did in each episode because i wish i could have learned more about the characters. their screen life seemed to be pretty quick so i just wish there was a little more depth to them. overall though the lighting was beautiful, songs were catchy and fun, and it left me wanting more. this does not function as a single film because there's really no plot resolution in the end, but as a part of a series it works and i can't wait to see the next.

I loved it! The movie very cleverly plays off of Aesop's Fables. A horror musical, it follows three dead individuals as they traverse through "The Devils Carnival," a depression area carnival staffed by minons of hell and run by the Devil himself. As the push forward, each person is tested and forced to confront their sins and untimely death. Pass and they assend to heaven. Fail, and they're souls are trapped in the carnival forever. If you are a fan of Repo! The Genetic Opera, this film is a must see!

If you loved Repo! The Genetic Opera as much as I did, then I'm sure you crapped your pants too when you heard there was a movie with half the Repo cast in it! This movie wasn't nearly as great as Repo, but it has the same amazing, unique style, imaginative, emotional characters, and epic costumes. The songs are a bit all over the place, but it was so fun looking for the Repo cast amidst the characters. All-in-all, quite fun and very creepy! P.S. How can you NOT love Emilie Autumn's character in this?!

Another amazing performance with an exceptional cast. Very glad to see the 'repo family' come back for another twisted tale. If this is how Hells carnies are.... I wanna party with them!

The problem I have with movie reviews is that they focus more on the negatives than anything else. Looking past the little mistakes, this is an amazing movie. I commend the film makers for being brave enough to try something like a horror musical. I have never seen repo or any of their other films, but if they are anything like this one I would also recommend looking them up. It's interesting how they make the devil out to be the hero and god the villian. Can't wait to see what they do with future episodes.
