Not great, but generally entertaining and enjoyable. Good performances, especially by Laura Linney, who I thought was better here than in anything else I've seen her in. Why didn't she get nominated for an award for this? She deserved it. I would call this a dark comedy/light thriller, and the cast is strong, so if you're in the mood for that, give it a try.

A story about a messed-up family, I guess we just have to learn from their experience, though I don't know whether this can really happen in real world.

Even best actors cannot save weak script. Story is potentially interesting but lack of structure makes you want to reach for remote every 5 minutes..
