Ok this movie is just a tear jerker.. It is kinda happy and sad at the same time. You have to see it in order to understand the story... but a woman loses her son (he is kidnapped) and year and years later they move to a new town and he is just living down the street.

i've wanted to watch this movie for a long time and i finally found time to watch it from the very beginning. very moving and makes you really empathize with all of the characters.

I was pleasantly surprised with how touching this story is. I found it extremely easy to place myself into the roles of the various characters and really FEEL what they were going through. The acting is phenomenal by all actors except maybe Whoopi Goldberg who tends to always play the same character in different clothes, then again her lightheartedness was absolutely necessary in a film of this magnitude. ;) Could it have been deeper and more involved? Yes, but for a movie that had to fit into 109 minutes, it was as close to perfection as one could expect.
