Wonderfully sad tale. Eddie Redmayne is fantastic and totally convincing as the lead. It really made me think about transgender people and gave me an insight into their suffering. Compelling and thoroughly recommended.

This was very well done. There was a definite bond between the protagonists and the end result was tragic but if lily did not take the step, who would have? This is an honest film about something that truly took place. This is a top film of the year and definitely the most powerful.

The danish girl is a brilliant and moving depiction of love in the context of one partner's search for identity. Acting by Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander is superb and nuanced. In all a tour de force. Must see.
