Although it’s being marketed as a horror film, The Curse of Downers Grove turns out to be something else — a messy hash of teen soap opera, stalker thriller and whatnot whose titular, possibly supernatural aspect is basically irrelevant.

The film sets up this curse hanging over the heads of its central characters, but doesn't plumb it for lingering tension, at least as far as it relates to the actual story.

This sorry excuse for a movie was Aggressively unwatchable. I would rather suck a whole bag of dicks before I watch this pile of shit again. The movie is about as good as Green Inferno.. To base a movie in the sespool of Downers Grove is as inappropriate as the acting .

Sooooooo bad. So many things wrong. Just a few: no adults. no parents. no neighbors. HS girl lifting and throwing a 30 pound car battery like a candy bar. 15 year old boy being admitted to a hospital for surgery, and no one calling parents, AND he's back home in an hour or two. Multiple gunshots from a house and no one calls police. SO bad it's funny.
