The Circle with Emma Watson and Tom Hanks is brilliant social commentary on us, a savage satire of Google and our enslavement to technology and social media. I can see why it didn't do well at the box office.

Emma Watson brings to life the real issues that we encounter everyday in terms of transparency, privacy and authenticity in a digital age. Her character stays true until the end as a hero of the average human in a dystopian/utopian vision of a panoptic society.

This movie was entertaining and thought provoking. I was prepared not to like it because it had so many bad reviews. I liked it very much.

Interesting story. Very well directed by James Ponsoldt. Music by Danny Elfman is spot-on. There are powerful, yet subtle moments throughout the film that make me want to watch it a second time.
