The Christmas Shoes (2002)

Two separate stories mesh - in the first, a young music teacher, Maggie Andrews, begins dying of a heart condition and her son Nathan tries to get a pair of Christmas shoes for her before she dies. In the second, lawyer Robert Layton and his wife Kate are slowly drifting apart and the matter comes to a head during Christmas when Kate takes over for Maggie for the school choir.

OMG!!! Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good!!!!!! I LOVE this movie! I cry everytime I see it!

i read the book first, and i must say that it's not always true to the book, but still heartwarming. i cried from start to finish. definitely worth the watch.

This movie was soooo good. Everyone should see it because you may think you're not interested, but you'll end up loving it. It made me cry a whole lot..... It's a beautiful movie. And there's a song too! "Christmas Shoes" by Bob Carslie (i think)
