The Christmas Shoes (2002)

Two separate stories mesh - in the first, a young music teacher, Maggie Andrews, begins dying of a heart condition and her son Nathan tries to get a pair of Christmas shoes for her before she dies. In the second, lawyer Robert Layton and his wife Kate are slowly drifting apart and the matter comes to a head during Christmas when Kate takes over for Maggie for the school choir.

Of cource...another movie that's going to make me cry everytime I watch it...but it's excellent!

A reminder not to take family for granted just because they are there. What's valuable is not that you have them or the length of time you could spend together, but that you've take time to be with them and the effort to cherish them - a drop-by for a cup of coffee or a phone call just to say hi - little as it is, it all adds up. This actually reminds me of the Parable of the Rich Fool.

Oh my goodness this movie is for sure a tear jerker!!!!! My mom and I were crying our eyes out it's such a sweet story really brings the song to life.

This one is just so underrated! i always loved the song and once i realized there was a movie, I had to see it!!! and its worth watching!!! i had to turn on the waterworks for this one!
