Yes, sweet, cute, romantic... but just not up to par. I guess if you're okay with the Hallmark Channel level of films you'll find this one enjoyable. I found it eye-rolling more than a few times with its obviousness and surface level romance. Edward Asner does ground it somewhat with a fairly good father figure, but the main love interest is not given enough screen time to show WHY she would be worth fighting over. It's all got a feeling of being "summarized" instead of unfolding naturally... and the constant music bed adds to that mood. It is what it is, though... and I did like Cody Cullen.

A sweet and romantic film. Was very touched how the woman wrote a Christmas card/letter to the soldiers in Afghanistan.

A ridiculously cheesy no doubt made for TV film that clearly lacks acting talent but somehow is watchable despite its flaws. It's so cliche & sentimental it's a safe watch & despite its flaws your just got to go with it & be patient. I find a lot of TV Christmas films have strong elements but always for short from acting & story telling.
