The Buttercream Gang (1992)

Unlike most gangs, the ButterCream gang does good deeds. Their leader, Pete, has to go live with his aunt in Chicago. But things don't go well in Chicago and Pete is changed when he returns. Soon Pete is hanging around with the wrong crowd. But the remaining members of the gang, especially their new leader Scott, refuse to give up on their friend Pete.

I had completely forgotten about this movie! Wow, what memories this brings back of being 11 years old and watching this after church during some congregational meeting. I actually don't remember the movie itself at all.

I love this movie. Good ol' Scottie always does the right thing. It's so quotable, too! "The Widow Jenkins fell down again!!"

It's been so long since I've seen this I really don't know what to rate it. It's a nice morally-wholesome film, but nowadays a film like this REALLY shows it's age.
