The Buttercream Gang (1992)

Unlike most gangs, the ButterCream gang does good deeds. Their leader, Pete, has to go live with his aunt in Chicago. But things don't go well in Chicago and Pete is changed when he returns. Soon Pete is hanging around with the wrong crowd. But the remaining members of the gang, especially their new leader Scott, refuse to give up on their friend Pete.

An obscure indie movie. Its a wonderful film for the whole family though. Very underappreciated! Its actually one of my favorite movies. My family got this movie randomly in the mail years ago and I've watched it many times since. Michael Weatherred gives an amazing performance. Its actually very humorous, sometimes without trying to be and its got a great lesson! I'd recommend this to anybody who can find it! Its not an easy film to track down if you don't already have it. But it is well worth it to watch! In my eyes its the best family film ever! :)

It is the best family movie ever, it protrays good values that are missing in most movies. Instead of making violance, bad language, and other not so good stuff in todays movie look cool it instead shows what happens when you stand up for what is right.

Despite the bad acting, the cheesy dialogue, and throwing rocks at bottles, this is and always will be my favorite movie. Why? Because no matter how bad the truth is delivered, it is still the truth. And the theme of this movie has permanently and eternally impacted my life.

This movie has a great message for all. I enjoyed as a kid so much. I still remember a song. Very cheesy acting, but worth looking at for your kids!
