A delicious slice of 80's nostalgia: Tom Hanks gives a fine comic performance in this well balanced black comedy about an average Mid-Western suburbanite who may or may not be living next door to the neighbours from hell.

If you haven't seen this movie...shame on you. One of Tom Hanks' BEST. SO funny. Go buy it.

Hugely negelected dark comedy gem from Joe Dante ,Featuring a Wondeful performance from Tom Hanks. When Hanks new Neighbours move in his Blowhard neighbour convinces him that they are Extremly dark folks indeed. Aided By Bruce Dern as a Suburban Vietnam nut and Corey Feldman as A younger Neighbour. Hanks is drawn into a darkly comic world which takes the rise out of Suburbia. Here Again Dante shows his deft touch combining brilliant Knockabout humour and dark Murderous moments. Middling boxoffice at its time of Release this film is even funnier today with the Advent of Neighbour hood watch groups and such like. A destined to be cult classic

Classic movie. Cracks me up everytime I watch it. Tom Hanks is awesome.
