A young girl witnesses the brutal murder of her stepfather at the hands of her brother, by mirror reflection. So terrible I laughed. I appreciate the classics. But, come on! (The piece of mirror stuck to the kid's shoe ... hilarious!) The stupid know-it-all husband should've died.

Genuinely eerie film was obviously inspired by Halloween but is in no way another super-violent clone of it. There are plenty of gruesome deaths throughout, but none are senseless or done for pure shock value. The whole atmosphere of the film is almost like something out of a Dario Argento horror movie.
