This film is a joke, and the punchline is the jingling of money in the box office. No spoken dialogue as the only voices heard were dubbed as the mouths were either obscured or the camera switched to get a reaction to what was said. The narration is horrible, repeating simple phrases meant to supply subtext to the action. Fortunately the only way to follow the tenuous plot is with the narration as the acting & direction are rudimentary - like gradeschooler. This should be required watching at all film schools, just to scare students.

This decidedly low-budget affair obviously didn't have the money to do sound on-site, so the director cleverly either nixes dialogue completely, or has the conversations take place while character faces can't be seen. (The best example is when two people are talking by the car, we see their bodies, but not their heads.) Most of the important information, however, is conveyed by narration which sounds like it was mimicking old propaganda newsreels. This is more fun than it is distracting... at least if you're looking to enjoy some old cult film.

ahahaha, how can anyone give this anything higher than a star? horrible dubbing, horrible shots, horrible plot... this movie isn't so bad its good, its so bad its unwatchable.

Progress. The wheels of justice. Joe and Jim. Dr. Joseph Javorsky. The greatest narrator of all time. The wife on the road. Some of the best accidently gay photography of all time. And did I mention... Progress? B-movie brilliance.

Probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen ... that's why I've got it on DVD as well, haha. 54 minutes feels like several hours while watching this "masterpiece".
