This movie starts out very strong, a survival story two baseball players stuck in the zombie apocalypse. Traveling from place to place like nomads. People are always your greatest enemy. the last 30 minutes literally is in a car stuck. there is no ending which killed it for me completely.

6.5/10 It was a better than average zombie movie, that very successfully focused on two survivors and their journey. It wasn't a horror movie, but more of an apocalyptic drama, with some good performances and a better than expected ending. ~March 14, 2015~

Pretty much the greatest thing that's happened to the zombie apocalypse genre since Romero's 1985, "Day of the Dead." The Battery captures more interesting dramatic human moments in under two hours compared to what AMC's "The Walking Dead" STILL has yet to achieve once in over 6 seasons...

Although it did have a back and forth between characters, it isn't very much a horror movie, in my opinion I loved the actors and the camera work, and it's washed lighting, but the pace is horrible. Don't believe in all the hype.
