This was one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time and it was made on a budget of $6000.00. Don't let that scare you away. The acting was phenomenal. The scenery was beautiful. Jeremy Gardner is a gem. I wish they would make a sequel. And the soundtrack...You can take our bones!

This movie was for me the bellflower of Fantasia 2013. Powerful yet funny, this movie will remind you why you spend hours in the scorching sun in line at Fantasia . To bad it was sold out and dint get the audience size it deserved.

A tale about a Bromance in the middle of the zombie apocalypse, if Adam Cronheim could've let go and made up like a stub, oh well. This movie reminds me of a few irritating personalities I know who can't focus on the bigger picture!

What makes this independent zombie flick stand out from any others. Firstly it features proper Romero zombies instead of the tedious sprinters that seem to be in the same category. Secondly they is little focus on constant violence and instead focuses on the development of Ben and Mickey. Both Gardner and Croheim superbly create very contrasting characters as the former loves the freedom in this new world whilst the latter wants life back the way it was. Occasionally intense and funny, The Battery has been one of the better zombie movies to come about in recent years.

6.5/10 It was a better than average zombie movie, that very successfully focused on two survivors and their journey. It wasn't a horror movie, but more of an apocalyptic drama, with some good performances and a better than expected ending. ~March 14, 2015~
