What a waste of time, this movie. Did not like it at all. There was no tension, no drama and it's not even funny when it's trying to be. What a disappointment.

dieser film hat mich eher wuetend gestimmt: die ganze zeit laeuft nebenher ein viel, viel besserer film ab, waehrend wir gezwungen sind, ein unoriginelles, achtzigtausendmal gesehenes caper movie anzuschauen... die abhoerthematik ist hier bloss modische verschnoerkelung eines strunzkonservativen und gelangweilt inszenierten wie gespielten 08/15-krimis. meilenweit von lumets sternstunden entfernt. das einzig spassige besteht darin zuzusehen, wie christopher walken in seinem hollywood-debut sean connery an die wand spielt.

Supposedly this film is due a Hollywood remake next year... Not sure why they would bother as the story line borders on being average. This version of The Anderson Tapes has an impressive cast list of actors, but also suffers from a highly irritating 1970s synthisized soundtrack throughout the film.

Though it could well of been better and explored its theme of surveillance somewhat more this is a fairly decent, well acted and enjoyable crime film that is made all the more watchable thanks to Connery.
