This film has an important core message but it's a little jumbled and messy. The character choice is very creative and they give insight to the effects of global warming on their lives. But I feel that this film didn't sent it's message as far as it possibly could, like Al Gores "An Inconvenient Truth" did. Pete Postlethwaite's character wasn't utilised as well as it could have, leaving this film only a good attempt to ask the rhetoric, "Why didn't we stop climate change when we had the chance?" and not a great film asking the same question.

A unique and interesting concept combined with an important message does not automatically equal a good movie. How can you talk for two hours about the impact of humans on the Earth and fail to discuss the fact that there are too many of us? I also did not see the point of using fancy computer graphics in the future while telling us to save electricity.

Left me thoroughly depressed and completely appalled. This eco-doco should be watched by everyone. Why are we so bent on self destruction? It gets a tad bit rhetorical but the point cannot be missed. We must take action now.
